hi im maddy, i live in seattle, im 25 and i started to make this website in august 2026 as a little passion project to teach myself how to code. this will be a long work in progress, but will hopefully manifest into my own personal online haven. i have loved the internet from such a young age, whether its been for the better or for worse, i still have such a strong sense of love and identity tied to the world wide web. as we can all probably agree, the internet has turned into a very scary and manipulative realm, and with that, the urge to leave has been strong, but i dont want to leave! the internet has brought so many new forms of creativity, connection, and exploration with it and i want to continue to access and explore that. as ive felt myself growing closer to the idea of ditching all of the big social media sites, i felt a longing to continue to share myself and my thoughts with the world, and so i felt inspired to create my own space, free of ads, marketing, and all of the other muck that we experience on sites like instagram or tiktok. fuck the doomscroll and welcome to my website. my site is COMPLETELY hand coded, and i will NEVER use AI! things here are still under construction, and probably will be indefinately, but feel free to click around, explore, and if you have any questions or comments please leave them on my neocites profile page or in the chat box to the right :3 tank yew!!!!
